Individual Expressive Arts and Singing Lessons

“You don’t have to choose between your mental health and musical excellence.”

I provide high‑caliber, versatile voice training in a deeply trauma‑informed, neurodivergent‑affirming environment. As a Trauma-informed Expressive Arts/Voice Teacher, I help beginners to professionals build versatile, healthy voices while learning nervous system regulation techniques to improve stage fright, attention/focus, and emotional regulation. I can support students with physical or mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD/Autism, PTSD, cancer, chronic illness, and more. Pre-teens through adults thrive under my straightforward, empathetic approach as they learn both the science and the art of singing. In the process of learning to sing, students will also learn:

  • Emotional regulation

  • Confidence

  • Anatomy and physiology of singing

  • Acoustics/physics of sound

  • Sight reading

  • Interoception (body awareness)

  • Muscular control

  • Better posture

  • And more

For clients who enjoy other art forms, we can incorporate visual art, writing, and movement into sessions.

Individual lessons cost $70/hour. Discounts available for semester registration.

What People Are Saying

“Constanza is such a wonderful teacher, artist, coach, and friend. She has given me all the tools I need to become a better singer, artist, and person. I always look forward to lessons with her. She helped me overcome crippling stage fright that used to shut down my voice during auditions. It is such a joy to work with Constanza towards finding your true voice. I enthusiastically recommend her to anyone looking to hone their craft and find vocal freedom!

— Former Adult Student with Anxiety

“Art and music helped me work through my trauma in a way that nothing else could.”

— Former Foster Youth with PTSD

“I don’t know what to say about one of the most important adults in my life. Constanza is more than a voice teacher. She became a mentor and a safe place to express whatever emotion is biggest that day. As someone with a chronic illness, my strength and capacity change each day. Constanza helps me adjust voice training to accommodate my body’s needs. In spite of everything, I can’t believe how much my singing has improved, but more importantly, how much I have grown as a person.”
